Dr. Amin Sarang is a highly-accredited Project Manager, holding a PhD of Civil Engineering, DBA, MOD I & II, and VMA certificates from SAVE-International. He is professionally licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists New Brunswick (APEGNB). Dr. Sarang has also served as Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran’s College of Engineering, and is a frequent advanced research associate at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Sarang possesses almost two decades of experience in civil urban projects, with 15 years dedicated to value engineering and value planning. He has educated and trained over 2,000 professionals in mega-cities throughout the Middle East, and leads regular value engineering workshops. His value engineering methods have achieved savings of nearly $600M for projects in urban planning, land development, and urban design. 

The projects for which Dr. Sarang has consulted and managed include large-scale commercial, hospitality, office, residential, and entertainment. He has led numerous large multi-disciplinary teams, worked with top international consultants in Europe and the Middle East, and extensively managed their contracts among various stakeholders to achieve the desired deliverables. To date, Dr. Sarang has managed over $100M in international land development, urban design, master planning, and investment packages.

In addition to his role as LSG’s Project Manager, Dr. Sarang is principal of Smart Phase One (SPO) Corporation, and director of Heartland Smart Development Corporation.

Dr. Sarang has led numerous large, multi-disciplinary teams on projects including theme parks, shopping malls, and water parks, exceeding 1.8 million square metres on 138 hectares of land.
